If you haven’t seen an episode of Vh1′s original hit show What Chilli Wants, you may have been hiding under a rock. Former TLC band member, Chilli, is on a quest to find love and find it on her terms. But Chilli has come under constant attack for the way she has gone about finding love. The detailed manlist, trust issues, private investigators and her outburst with the match maker, Chilli appears silly and unsure of what she wants.

The thing we often miss is that she is exercising her authority to find what she “really” wants. Her refusal to settle  for anything less than the best should be applauded not frowned upon. As a women, I do agree that her antics can be extreme and her list is something every woman wants, but I wish that more women would do the same thing she is doing. Allow yourself to date and not settle until you find everything you want. Compromise but don’t give up your beliefs and morals.

If we as women can put our authority to work, more men would respect our wishes and we will be in control to get exactly what we want. So in reality what does Chilli “really” wants?  I say she wants a Real Man, check out this article!
